Andrea Oliver, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Carthage who has provided primary care to East Texans since 2006. Since earning her doctor of nursing practice, Oliver strives to provide holistic healthcare to patients of all ages. "I see patients across their lifespan. I have been blessed to care for individuals from just a few days old to over 100."
Oliver makes it a point to get to know her patients. "I enjoy getting to know my patients as complete individuals. That's important to me because the factors that impact their health are not necessarily the ones you see in the clinic setting. To best address those conditions, you need to see how the community affects them."
